Expectations

All of my classes are in-person/synchronous. My classes are not self paced. This means the due dates for assignments and the date/time for the exams are fixed as is posted on e-learning. Please schedule your time such that you will be able to complete your assignments and take your exams.

Everything will be posted to e-learning. Check regularly, and keep up with the material. If you don’t

attend the lectures,
take notes,
and do the assignments,

you cannot expect to get a good grade.

Ask Questions!

I love teaching and working with students. This is my job, and I get paid for it. More specifically, you are paying me (and the rest of the faculty and staff) to do it. If you have a question and don’t ask it, you’re not getting what you have already paid for. So if you have a question, please ask during the lectures. I’d much rather get one question during class, than twenty afterwards. If you have a question between classes, send me an email. If it’s too complicated for an email, set up an appointment for office hours. I want you to do well in my class, and if you don’t ask questions, you won’t.
